MISSION

Freedom in the Cross Ministries is an outreach ministry of Joshua Revolution dedicated to preaching and teaching the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We believe the Gospel is the answer not only for the Salvation of the sinner, but also for the victorious walk of the believer.  As such, we don't come to you with excellency of speech, preaching the wisdom of men with enticing words.  Instead, we are determined, like Paul, not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified (1 Cor 2:2).  Many are looking for a pep-talk, others are searching for a new program or the latest fad, but we preach Christ crucified.  The preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness, but unto us which are saved, it is the Power of God (1 Cor 1:18).  Our mission is to declare the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to every nation and tongue, not in word only, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power, that the faith of every sinner and saint may come to rest exclusively, singularly, and narrowly in Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

STRATEGY

In taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every nation and tongue, our strategy is to teach and preach the Word of God in every venue, every home, every prison, and every street corner by making use of every communication tool available.  We believe the power of the Gospel is the Gospel itself (Rom 1:16).  As such,  we do not believe the mode or method of communication matters, as long as the Word of the Truth of the Gospel is conveyed in the power of the Holy Spirit.  With this in mind, our strategy is to make use of online articles, online videos, podcasts, books, and live preaching to present the Gospel to as many people as possible.  In carrying out this strategy, we believe in being Spirit-led so that we may be Spirit-empowered.
